'Qi' or 'Chi' means energy. In Yoga, it is called 'Prana'. 'Gong' or 'Kung' means work. Therefore, Qigong means the exercise of your internal energy. Tai Chi and Qi Gong are related ancient arts that can be used to develop one's Qi or Energy for improved health and increased longevity. Tai Chi and Qi Gong exercise the mind, not just the body. They are 'moving meditations' that increase strength from the inside out. Practitioners move with greater ease and efficiency, both mentally and physically. Tai Chi reduces blood pressure, improves immune function, improves oxygen utilization, increases bone density, increases knee and ankle strength and flexibility, and reduces levels of stress. Qi Gong is a means of improving and restoring health through gentle, soft movements and deep breathing. Qi Gong is a simple method for improving the quality and texture of your health and life!
It is simple to learn, so why you are still waiting, please take action to enjoy our Taichi and Qi Gong Group!. |
